I'm a storyteller. My lens is my pen, and every couple I capture is a new chapter. Recently, I had the distinct honor of being part of Jojuan and Bri's story. They celebrated eight beautiful years of marriage, and I was there to freeze their timeless moment in a frame.The Columbus Art Museum, a stunning backdrop for this milestone, was our canvas for the day. As we wandered through the exquisite halls, the couple's love story unfolded before me. Jojuan and Bri, stylish and graceful, radiated a love that was palpable. As a husband, I understand the depth of these moments. That feeling of looking at your partner and realizing how far you've journeyed together, the shared laughter, the hurdles overcome, the private jokes, the silent understanding, and the dreams for tomorrow. This understanding guides me as a photographer. I aim to capture the essence of the couple's unity, their shared love story. As I watched Jojuan and Bri, I saw the same unity that I feel with my wife. I saw the love that binds them together. It's not every day that you come across a bond as strong as the one shared by A'kara and Brandon. Their wedding was one of those events that, if you know, you know. This couple was a pleasure to work with, and having the chance to encapsulate their love story through my lens was a privilege that I cherish.I first met A'kara at the wedding of mutual friends. We were both part of the wedding party, and this gave me an opportunity to know her and Brandon better. Their story was compelling, their backgrounds intriguing. When they asked me to capture their big day, it didn't take a second thought to say yes. After all, what's more special than freezing in time the most beautiful moments of a couple's life?The day of the wedding was filled with laughter, joy, and an overwhelming sense of happiness. A'kara's dress was a sight to behold, as was Brandon's tailor-made suit. The detail that stood out the most was the engraving of his initials inside his jacket - a personal touch that showed the thoughtfulness put into every element of their day.But the highlight of the day? That had to be when Brandon serenaded A'kara as she walked down the aisle. The song, 'Me for You' by Johnny Gill, echoed throughout the venue, adding a layer of emotion that was palpable to everyone present.
